At Miami Dade College’s Kendall Campus, the future isn’t just being studied – it’s on display.
Render Impact partnered with MDC’s Applied AI program to develop an immersive 3D content experience that showcases the college’s emerging technology programs with striking clarity and futuristic elegance. Built for a custom LED video wall installation, the content transports viewers into a dynamic AI lab powered by data, robotics, and imagination.
To create a visually captivating centerpiece for MDC’s AI Innovation Hub. The experience merges storytelling, technology, and interactivity into a seamless visual narrative. The content feels alive, intelligent, and on-brand while remaining abstract enough to avoid literal promises or product claims.
Rendered entirely in Unreal Engine, the animation unfolds within a futuristic white-lab environment inspired by utopian technology design. At its center, a robot host activates a series of intelligent holographic infographics.
Each hologram presents a key pillar of MDC’s AI curriculum:
→ Machine Learning – A glowing “brain” surrounded by flowing data streams
→ Data Science – A rotating runner transforms into a sneaker and an environmental cube
→ VR/AR – A user toggles between wearable AR glasses and a full VR headset
→ Automation – Industrial robots, drones, and a humanoid figure cycle across the display
The full sequence plays across a vertical LED wall and a curved ribbon display, creating a unified sense of depth and presence throughout the space.
To extend the experience beyond the main video wall, Render Impact created custom content for the curved LED ribbon display. Designed for an ultra-wide format, the ribbon acts as a continuous visual layer that reinforces the AI theme across the space.
Create a seamless, ambient animation that enhances the environment while maintaining clear, on-brand messaging.
Built for a 9000px wide x 300px high display, the animation centers around an AI chip that drives flowing data lines, binary patterns, and particle effects across the ribbon.
The content runs as a seamless loop, combining abstract motion with key messaging moments, including “Miami Dade College – Kendall Campus” and “AI Innovation Hub.” Each transition is designed to feel fluid and continuous, ensuring the display remains engaging from any point in the loop.
