Talking Stick Resort

When Talking Stick Resort installed a series of unique floor-to-ceiling, column, and ribbon displays for their newly expanded gaming areas, they trusted us to create awe-inspiring 3D content experiences and digital art that captivates their guests at every turn.

Hallway Screens

Talking Stick’s poker room looks out at a trio of truly jaw-dropping, floor-to-ceiling 6720×5400 resolution screens. Digital canvases of this size are truly a beauty to behold. From regular daily play to multi-day poker tournaments, this room sees patrons who might be looking at our content for quite a long time, so we needed to keep the content on these screens active and full of visual interest.

We pitched Talking Stick a wide range of options, and they chose three for initial production: an aquarium scene, a western landscape, and a calming waterfall.

Card Sharks

We’ve produced our share of aquarium scenes over the years, but never on a canvas quite like this. The 7K+ resolution on each 0.9mm LED display allows for an impressive amount of detail and realism. We focused on sharks and manta rays as the primary subjects and filled their environment with playing cards and poker chips for a sense of whimsy.

Spa Waterfall

We developed a zen-like waterfall for a more serene scene to remind patrons of Talking Stick’s spa services. The calming lighting and flowing water give the space a soothing tranquility.

Salt River Wild Horses

The crowd favorite. We’ve been told that players in Talking Stick’s poker tournaments specifically request they keep this one on loop. The blue sky and rocky red landscape create the sense that you’re playing outdoors!

Garage Entrance Screen

Filling the wall of the garage entrance, a 5760×2160 screen is the first thing greeting patrons as they arrive at Talking Stick Resort.

For this screen, we created everything from exciting scenes using 3D casino elements to a beautiful, vibrant flower wall.

Dice Box

“A bombastic macro-view of dice slamming chips on a craps table.” That was the one-line pitch for a video that transforms a garage entrance into a larger-than-life gaming experience.

Salt River Rewards

A bevy of oversized player rewards cards fly out towards the viewer. The forced perspective space is designed to emulate the rest of the garage entrance, creating the sense that the cards are really there.

Flower Wall

Living walls are one of our favorite genres of forced perspective content. No two walls are ever alike. The beauty and complexity of plants allows for infinite diversity in infinite combinations. And there’s something very energizing about being greeted by the simple grandeur of nature.

Showroom

Lining the ceiling trim, corners, and columns of Talking Stick’s Show Room are a series of ribbon and wrap LED displays. The color and light of these screens spill into the space, transforming the physical environment entirely based on the digital content. For our designers, nailing the desired ambiance and vibe is crucial.

Golden Fractals

Card suits are well-established, classic iconography for casinos. We wanted to do a fresh take on them that created a vast amount of visual interest and greeblization.

Particle Waves

For a gentle ambiance that added a stronger sense of abstraction, we created a series of shifting particle waves to flow across the space.

Gold Tree

Leaning into abstract fantasy realism, we turned the environmental screens into a massive tree of gold leaves and budding gold coins.

I absolutely loved working with your team during our creative sessions. They were the highlights of my week and I could not be more happy with how everything came to life!

Poker Room Pillars

Inside the newly renovated Poker Room, Render Impact designed custom content for a set of tall, vertical LED pillars (resolution: 640×5760). Each loop was built to feel immersive, elegant, and thematically tied to the energy of the space.

Falling Cards

A standout piece in this set, the Falling Cards animation features oversized ace cards drifting slowly down the length of the screen. As each card tumbles, a cutout reveals a glimpse of a hidden world inside: a miniature space that disappears as the card flips and reveals its back. It’s a simple concept with a surprising twist and one of the more visually poetic moments in the room.

Liquid Gold

This loop features a surface of slowly rippling, molten gold – abstract and mesmerizing. Its subtle motion and reflective texture help elevate the space without overwhelming it.

Embers

Embers rise from the base of the pillar screens, drifting upward through a dark, ambient environment. Soft light flickers across the surface, revealing depth as particles fade in and out. The motion is slow and continuous, creating a warm, atmospheric presence.

Hallway Screens: Liquid Gold and Embers

Two additional versions were also created for the large hallway displays. These extra loops gave the client flexibility to rotate content based on time of day, event type, or mood.

Liquid Gold

Adapted from the pillar version, this sequence plays out in a wider frame, using the same slow, flowing gold to create a calm and immersive visual moment.

Embers with Logo Icon

A full-frame take on the embers concept, this loop features a rotating logo and drifting particles, designed to bring a subtle, branded glow to the transitional space of the hallway. It feels warm and mysterious. Like a brand mark seen through smoke and firelight.

For projects of this size and scope, previsualizations are a must have. We’re working on the content many months before the screens have been installed.
A proper previz gives clients the visual context of how the screens will look in their space and how the content will be seen.
