Our content strategy started with ambience. We created Dayscape and Nightscape loops that feature ocean horizons, soft skies, and subtle neon lighting – a perfect way to add a luxurious feel without overwhelming the senses. Branded, forced perspective logo animations on the columns tie the room together.
Sun Princess
Carnival Cruise Line’s Sun Princess isn’t just a ship – it’s a floating resort packed with luxury, entertainment, and cutting-edge design. When it came time to outfit the onboard casino with digital signage, Carnival turned to Render Impact to create something special that elevates the experience for every guest who boards.
We developed a full suite of immersive casino content for the Sun Princess Casino’s LED ribbon displays, column wraps, and high-definition screens. Each piece of content was designed to reflect the spirit of the cruise and enhance the overall experience, whether that meant celebrating a jackpot win or transporting guests to a new destination without ever leaving the gaming floor.
We also created a handful of seasonal content. For the Lunar New Year, the entire casino is transformed into a digital festival. An animated dragon dances across the LED ribbons while red lanterns float across the columns. Gold and crimson details connect the elements across the displays. Guests don’t just see a celebration, they feel like they are part of it!
As the ship journeys to different ports, the content changes to match. Scenic footage of cities such as Rome, Barcelona, and Santorini wrap around the displays. Soft animated overlays connect the screens to one another, while the seawitch tendrils reinforce the Carnival brand. These visuals were designed to help guests feel like they were still exploring, even while enjoying time indoors.
For a more evergreen casino feel, we crafted a library of general gaming animations: spinning slot reels, tumbling dice, falling casino chips, and more! These elements were custom-tailored to reflect the Princess Casino’s vibrant brand while keeping the floor visually active and fun.
Throughout every piece, we stayed consistent with one goal: digital signage is meant to enhance the guest experience. It wasn’t just about looking good – it was about setting the mood, reinforcing the brand, and giving guests memorable moments that would stick with them after their cruise ended.
From the large-scale LED displays to location-specific content, this project pushed the boundaries of what’s possible on the open seas.
