Resorts World Las Vegas

Carnival Casino Management Conference | Immersive 3D Content & Anamorphic Experiences

Render Impact partnered with Carnival Corporation to create immersive 3D content for the LED Globe at Resorts World Las Vegas across two consecutive Casino Management Conferences.

Each year featured a distinct creative execution, designed specifically for the same spherical display while delivering a fresh visual experience that aligned with the event’s goals.

The objective was consistent. Maximize one of the most prominent digital displays on property with content that captures attention, communicates the brand clearly, and creates a memorable visual moment.

The Display Environment

Screen: Resorts World Las Vegas LED Globe

Runtime: 30-second looping content

The LED Globe requires purpose-built content. Unlike flat displays, spherical screens demand:

→ Accurate mapping across curvature

→ Controlled perspective from multiple viewing angles

→ Careful handling of distortion at the top and bottom

→ Motion and timing designed for seamless looping

Strong results come from designing in 3D space, not adapting flat content.

Creative Approach

Each year’s content was developed as a standalone experience, while maintaining a shared focus on depth, clarity, and visual impact.

Year 1: Cruise Ship Hero Reveal

A more focused concept built around a single, high-impact visual moment.

→ A dynamic field of red, white, and blue slats establishing depth

→ A defined opening forming within the globe

→ A Carnival cruise ship advancing toward the viewer

→ A hero moment where the ship appears to emerge beyond the surface

→ A dimensional logo treatment anchored in the foreground

This piece was designed to instantly stop viewers with a strong focal point and a clear brand presence.

Year 2: Casino-Themed Globe Experience

A high-energy, casino-inspired sequence designed to feel like a dimensional environment inside the sphere.

→ Marquee-style lighting and layered 3D elements

→ Slot machine interaction triggering animated reels

→ Branded moments revealed through controlled depth and motion

→ A structured build to a clear logo moment

This execution emphasized movement, energy, and repeat engagement.

Technical & Creative Considerations

→ Spherical mapping ensured accurate perspective across the globe

→ Multi-angle readability maintained clarity in a high-traffic environment

→ Brand legibility was preserved through contrast, scale, and controlled motion

→ Timing precision allowed each piece to build, peak, and loop seamlessly within :30

Production Approach

Render Impact handled concept development, 3D design and animation, lighting and rendering, logo treatments, sphere mapping, and final delivery.

A consistent production approach ensured both executions met the same standard of quality while allowing for distinct creative direction year to year.

The Result

Across two consecutive conferences, the LED Globe became a reliable platform for delivering high-impact brand moments.

→ Each year introduced a fresh visual experience tailored to the same display

→ The cruise ship reveal delivered a clear, memorable hero moment

→ The casino-themed piece drove energy and continuous engagement

→ Both executions maintained strong clarity and dimensional depth

→ The seamless loops ensured consistent performance in a high-traffic space

This work demonstrates how a single display can support evolving creative year over year while continuing to deliver strong visual impact and brand presence.

The client absolutely loved the final experience, especially the globe. The project was such a success that they extended the activation for an additional day. We’re incredibly grateful to the team for taking on such a challenging build and delivering exceptional work.

Anamorphic Dragon | Corner Display Illusion

Render Impact extended the visual experience at Resorts World Las Vegas beyond the LED Globe to a custom anamorphic installation on a prominent corner display adjacent to the main towers.

The objective was to create a high-impact visual moment that would capture attention from multiple approach angles while working within the unique constraints of the architecture.

This was not a standard LED canvas. It was a fragmented, corner-based display with physical interruptions that required a tailored, spatially aware solution.

The Display Environment

Display Type: Corner LED Display

Location: Adjacent to Resorts World Towers

This installation introduced a key challenge.

A central portion of both faces of the corner display was occupied by real architectural windows, creating a break in the digital surface. This meant the content needed to:

→ Integrate physical obstructions into the illusion

→ Maintain continuity across two intersecting planes

→ Read clearly from multiple viewing angles

→ Deliver a strong anamorphic effect despite interrupted screen space

Creative Direction

Rather than treating the window cutouts as a limitation, we turned them into the centerpiece of the illusion.

The concept reimagined the architecture as part of a dimensional scene:

→ A fully built 3D room environment wrapped the corner geometry

→ The window cutout became a floating platform suspended within the space

→ The underside of the platform featured the Resorts World logo, reinforcing brand presence

To elevate the visual impact, the experience introduced a pair of dragons interacting with the environment:

→ Dragons entered from opposing directions across the corner

→ Motion was choreographed to emphasize depth and scale

→ Fire-breathing effects extended both above and below the platform

→ The animation leveraged the corner to enhance the illusion of true dimensional space

The result was a bold, cinematic moment designed to stop viewers in their tracks.

Technical & Creative Challenges

Architectural Integration

The physical window cutouts could not be ignored. They had to be incorporated into the illusion in a way that felt intentional and believable.

→ Dual-Surface Mapping

Content needed to align seamlessly across two planes meeting at a corner, with precise calibration for perspective accuracy.

→ Forced Perspective Optimization

The illusion was tuned for real-world viewing positions, ensuring the 3D effect read instantly in a high-traffic environment.

Production Approach

Render Impact handled:

→ Concept development aligned to architectural constraints

→ 3D environment design built around physical interruptions

→ Character animation and effects, including fire simulations

→ Forced perspective calibration for corner viewing angles

→ LED mapping across intersecting surfaces

→ Final rendering and playback optimization

The Result

The Anamorphic Dragon installation transformed a complex, interrupted display into a unified visual experience.

The content:

→ Turned architectural constraints into a focal feature

→ Delivered a high-impact, “wow-factor” moment

→ Created a true anamorphic illusion across a corner geometry

→ Reinforced Resorts World branding in a bold and memorable way

Most importantly, it demonstrated how the right creative and technical approach can elevate even the most challenging display into a signature visual moment.
