Grand Casino Hotel & Resort set out to transform their lounge and bar into something unforgettable. They wanted digital displays that added motion, elegance, and atmosphere to the space without compromising design. The goal was a lasting impression that blends seamlessly into the architecture.
Two custom-built displays define the space:
Each screen presented a different opportunity. Our job was to create a visual experience that was striking, perfectly paced, and built for the unique environment.
We began with a strategy rooted in design thinking. Each loop was developed specifically for its screen, with resolution, viewing angles, and environmental lighting all driving creative decisions.
Behind the bar, we delivered two ambient loops:
– Cascading water over barrels with layered flow and soft reflections
– An undersea dreamscape filled with glowing particles and subtle movement
Both loops were designed to feel refined and cinematic. The movement draws you in and holds your attention just long enough to make a moment memorable.
For the transparent divider screen, we developed a library of bold videos designed to keep things lively without blocking views:
– Rolling dice with sharp shadows
– Spinning card suits
– Falling 3D poker chips
– Animated sound bars moving with rhythmic bounce
Each video was designed for visibility from both sides of the screen, even in constantly shifting lighting conditions.
We didn’t scale down or reuse content. Every frame was created natively for its target resolution and screen dimensions. Motion paths were refined for clarity, and contrast levels were optimized for ambient lighting throughout the day.
The reaction was immediate. Guests stop mid-conversation to look. Staff say people regularly ask if the visuals were custom-made. Phones come out. People film it. The displays have become a destination within this gaming resort.
The bar wall loops bring a sense of calm and depth. The transparent divider adds energy.
