Kompose Kissimmee

Kompose is a design-centered hotel brand, and guests feel that from the second they step inside. The lobby features bold fixtures, dramatic lighting, and carefully selected materials. Our role was to match that energy with digital content that lifts the environment and gives guests a first impression they will remember.

The lobby layout utilizes six LED screens. Five screens line high walls in the main lobby entrance, while a dedicated display behind the front desk carries the brand’s identity. We approached these screens as one stage. Each screen plays a part, and together they form a cohesive digital welcome.

Our creative direction centered on two unique visual journeys that rotate throughout the day. One brings the ocean indoors with a stylized underwater world, and the other opens onto a sweeping safari adventure. Both sequences rely on dimensional motion, careful timing, and forced-perspective illusion. The goal was simple – surprise guests, hold attention, and reward a second look.

Challenges

A multi-screen lobby is exciting and demanding in equal measure. The space calls for large gestures and precise details, and that begins with scope. The vision included hero moments and cross-screen transitions that feel integrated with the room. We had to deliver those moments with care while staying efficient with asset creation and timing.

The physical layout shaped every choice. The five front-facing screens are interrupted by structural columns, meaning guests can lose sight of a moving subject for a beat and then see it again on the next display. Motion had to stay legible across these gaps, and paths needed to feel natural even when the viewer missed a few frames.

The sixth screen behind the desk added another layer of complexity. It is not visible when looking at the other screens, yet it still needed to carry the Kompose branding with taste. The brand presence had to be confident and calm to support the lobby experience without competing with it.

An additional challenge we faced was managing a variety of resolutions and orientations. Content had to look crisp both from across the room and up close. It needed to play in perfect sync from multiple viewing angles, including from the second level. Every asset required custom mapping and testing for clarity, color, and motion.

Solutions

We built the content system around clarity, scale, and rhythm. The underwater and safari sequences were structured with modular layers to stretch the animation across multiple screens while maintaining a smooth flow. Directional movement, parallax depth, and selective reveals help the space feel larger than the physical digital canvases.

Forced perspective was a core technique our team used for these scenes. An elephant reveal uses the display framing to push the ears and trunk forward with a convincing 3D pop. A sea turtle appears to glide beyond the screen plane. Birds travel between screens and feel at home within the architecture. These WOW-factor moments are what make guests slow down for a moment and escape to these digital worlds.

The display behind the lobby desk received a complementary environment to what was playing on the five screens nearby. In each scene, the Kompose logo sits within the scene as a natural element. This reinforces the brand while keeping the visual tone relaxed and refined.

On the technical side, every asset was created natively for its destination display. We tuned motion and timing for each canvas. Playback was tested on site to confirm that transitions landed cleanly from the lobby floor and from the overlook. Brightness, contrast, and sync were calibrated to protect color fidelity and keep the illusion sharp.

As the project progressed, the client opened additional hours to elevate more hero moments. This allowed us to expand animal interactions, push depth cues further, and add extra polish to the sequences that guests talk about most.

Outcome

The lobby now greets guests with personality and presence. The underwater sequence wraps the room in calm light and smooth motion. The safari brings warm energy and a sense of scale. Together, they create a signature rhythm for arrivals, check-ins, and casual gatherings in the space.

Guests notice, phones come out, and short videos are shared. The elephant reveal on the safari is a clear favorite, the hero turtle earns a second look, and birds crossing from screen to screen create a small spark of wonder. These are simple moments that feel special in a real room.

From a performance standpoint, the system is rock solid. The loops run approximately three-and-a-half minutes. Playback is smooth, color holds up at close range, and the forced-perspective illusion works from multiple vantage points. The multi-screen crossovers feel carefully choreographed rather than callously crowded.

Kompose has been enthusiastic in their feedback. The content aligns with their brand, heightens the arrival experience, and provides the staff with a dynamic backdrop that still feels welcoming. The modular structure also sets the stage for future updates, allowing seasonal looks and promotional frames to be introduced without reworking the entire system.

Why This Works

  • Designed for the space. Every pixel was planned around real sightlines and real architecture.
  • Built native to the screens. Assets were created to exact resolution and orientation for crisp, artifact-free playback.
  • Dimensional storytelling. Forced perspective and cross-screen motion turn screens into a shared environment.
  • Flexible by design. The content system is ready for seasonal and brand updates without a heavy lift.

This is digital signage used with intention. The results at Kompose prove what happens when content, architecture, and brand work together. Guests feel it the instant they walk in, the lobby gains a clear identity, and the property earns a visual signature that keeps guests engaged from arrival to checkout.
