J Resort

We collaborated with J Resort in Reno, NV, to create an art-driven visual experience on a 65′ x 65′ LED canvas on the side of their hotel tower. We developed a series of 9 digital art pieces exploring abstraction, playful deconstruction, and natural photorealism. Each piece was designed to keep viewers intrigued and engaged.

• 3D Soft Body Orbs: A playful animation of classy, squishy balls floating & colliding in space for a whimsical and dream-like experience.
• Laser Light Show: A futuristic scene creating a mesmerizing and hypnotic experience through light and movement.
• Kaleidoscope: A geometric & colorful abstraction that uses symmetry and vibrant colors to deliver a visual spectacle.
• Lava Lamp: Liquid globs inspired by classic lava lamps, lazily floating in space for a soothing yet captivating visual.
• Liquid Paint: A blend of vivid colors as gelatinous paint swirls and mixes within a forced-perspective box.
• Liquid Sphere: An ethereal, invisible sphere defined only by the sloshing shape of water.
• Scream: A reimagining of Edvard Munch’s iconic painting “The Scream.” We added a traditional, 2D animation introduction for the moments leading to the iconic Scream followed by an eye-popping 3D illusion deconstruction of the titular painting.
• Sound Wave Mozart: A visual interpretation of the sound waves pulsing & fluctuating to the rhythm of Mozart’s music.
• Ansel Adams Tree: A photorealistic time-lapse of a tree cycling through the seasons. It offers a serene, natural contrast to the abstractions in this series, while capturing the beauty of nature’s transformations.

This digital art installation has become a focal point of the casino resort’s exterior. The diversity of themes, from playful and surreal to realistic and contemplative, keeps viewers engaged by providing something for everyone.
